The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation comprised of 38 member countries that works to build better policies for better lives. Directorate for Communications
Under the guidance of the Secretary-General, the core mission of the Directorate for Communications (COM) is to maximise the reach and impact of the OECD and its work through clear, evidence-based communications working in collaboration with all directorates. The COM Directorate carries out its functions in accordance with the OECD Communications Strategy and pursuant to Annual Communication Plans for which it is responsible, steering organisational efforts on strategic priorities and supporting policy directorates in their communications to specialised audiences. COM is a centralised communications corporate directorate which provides services, advice and support to a highly decentralised communications environment. Working with communications professionals across the OECD, it drives a coherent communications function, serving as a standard setter for excellence while at the same time measuring communications impact and adjusting efforts as required. It leads on corporate level media, social media, stakeholder and parliamentary engagement; the architecture and implementation of the organisation’s online presence, including multimedia digital content; and the dissemination of OECD publications, while performing an important role in risk identification and management in the public sphere. The Directorate holds as a core value an agile, collaborative and supportive culture marked by positive interaction and accountability among professionals.
Communications Impact, Standards & Capacity Building Division
The mission of the Communications Impact, Standards & Capacity Building Division (CISC) is to build and facilitate a collaborative community of excellence among communication staff at the OECD (the ONE COM function) by promoting effective and consistent communications practices and developing a learning and improvement culture. Specifically, the division works with communications staff across the Organisation to:
COM is seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Junior Communication & AI Intelligence Officer to support the OECD’s work in measuring the visibility, reach and impact of its communications both in traditional and AI-mediated information environments. Reporting to the Head of the Communications Impact Unit, the selected candidate will contribute to strategic analysis of the uptake, influence and policy footprint of OECD content, across media, digital platforms, policy and academic ecosystems, with a particular focus on emerging AI-driven dynamics such as Large Language Models (LLMs), generative search and AI referrals.

This vacancy should be filled as soon as possible, and applications should reach us no later than midnight 22 June 2026 (Paris time).
Contract Duration
13-month fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal to a maximum of 36 months.
Please note that our Rules and Regulations stipulate that the mandatory retirement age is 67.
What the OECD offers
Monthly salary starts at 4638.76 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
