We are looking for a Business Development Intern

Compensation: $25/hour

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, supporting sales efforts, and helping drive growth initiatives. You'll conduct market research, assist in lead generation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for expanding the business. This role provides hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, and business development within a fast-paced tech startup environment.

About the role: 

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and potential partners.
  • Assist in prospecting and outreach efforts by identifying and qualifying leads through various channels.
  • Support the sales team in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for potential clients and partners.
  • Help maintain and update CRM systems with lead and client information to track engagement and pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute growth strategies that drive revenue and partnerships.
  • Participate in meetings and networking opportunities to gain hands-on experience in sales, partnerships, and business development within a fast-paced startup environment.

About you:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in business development and sales within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and prospects.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research and identify trends.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or sales outreach platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic data analysis tools.
