Azure Administrator

Sev1Tech is looking for an Azure Administrator to join our high performing team!

Experience and skills to be utilized, but not limited to:

General:

• Detailed understanding of Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) architecture and its capabilities.
• Experience with Azure identity and access management (IAM) strategies and best practices.
• Ability to manage user identities, groups, and roles in Entra ID.
• Experience with Azure AD Connect and hybrid identity solutions.
• Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies.

Security:

• Knowledge of security best practices for Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with configuring and managing Just-in-Time Access and Privileged Access Management (PAM) for Active Directory
• Understanding of threat detection and response strategies.

Scripting and Automation:

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Azure and Entra ID tasks.
• Experience with Azure CLI and automation in Powershell, Bash, or Python.

Networking:

• Understanding of virtual networks, hybrid networking, and ExpressRoute in Azure.
• Experience with network security groups (NSGs) and Azure Firewall.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create and interpret reports, dashboards, and alerts in Azure.

• 5+ years’ experience managing and configuring various Azure cloud-native technologies in scalable, enterprise environments

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher

• Create and run PowerShell or Batch file scripts
• Test deployments for Azure environment or configuration
• Deploy and configure services, automate processes using Azure
• DevOps or PowerShell, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and stakeholders

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune

• Experience administering Windows and Linux OS virtual machines
